• LAS VEGAS — Nuptial vows were exchanged by Mollie McGovern and Bret Hartup during a 7 p.m. ceremony on Sept. 13 at the Guardian Angel Cathedral performed by the Rev. Larry Lentz.

The bride’s tea-length ivory gown was accented with a champagne sash. Her veil was enhanced with pearls, and she held a bouquet of mini calla lilies.

The honor attendant, Kelsey Codner of Wadsworth, wore a celery-green gown with a champagne sash.

Serving as best man was Monty Kamath of Twinsburg.

The bride, a daughter of Frank and Patricia McGovern of Boardman, and the groom, a son of Kimberly Hartup and Christine Trent, both of Westlake, accepted congratulations during a reception on Sept. 27 at the Pioneer Pavilion in Mill Creek Park, Youngstown.

Mrs. Hartup earned a bachelor’s degree in telecommunications and geography and a master’s in business administration at Youngstown State University. She is an assignment manager for WFMJ Television in Youngstown.

Mr. Hartup, a U.S. Naval Reserve veteran, is a senior assistant law director for the Youngstown Prosecutor’s Office. He graduated from Baldwin Wallace College with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and from Cleveland Marshall College of Law with a juris doctorate.

The couple have postponed their wedding trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, until December and live in Youngstown.
