CLUB CALENDAR

CLUBS

• The American Hungarian Club will meet at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the club, on Donald Avenue. Plans will be finalized for the 1 p.m. Dec. 7 Christmas party. Members are asked to take a casserole; meat will be provided by the club. There will be a candlelight memorial service for deceased members. Members may take a Christmas bulb or may purchase one for 50 cents to place on the memorial tree. After the service Ethel Kripchak will show slides of the organization’s Heritage Days. Nomination of officers for 2009 will be accepted. There will be no meeting in December.

• Antique Tractor Club of Trumbull County will have an annual Christmas dinner at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 5 at Garden Brook Banquet Center, 5820 State Route 5 NE, Cortland. Reservations for the event will be accepted at the 7 p.m. Tuesday meeting at Ali Baba Grotto, Perkins-Jones Road, Warren.

CLASSES

• East High Alumni will meet at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Denny’s in Boardman.

GRANGES

• A report of the Ohio State Grange Convention will be given by Pat and Alice Sweely when the Dublin Grange meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday. Members are reminded to take hats, gloves and scarves for the community service project.

Religious groups

• The Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church Altar and Rosary Society will meet at 8 a.m. Tuesday for Mass at the church. The meeting will follow.

SERVICE CLUBS

• Girard-Liberty Kiwanis will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at The Golf Dome, 1300 N. State St., Girard.

• D.A.R.E., a social group for divorced, widowed or separated people, has planned the following events: Monday, walking in Southern Park Mall, meet at food court, 6 p.m.; Tuesday, dance lessons with Judy Conti, $5, Wedgewood Plaza, 7 p.m.; Wednesday, walking in Southern Park Mall, food court, 6 p.m.; Nov. 28, cheap movies at Movies 8 in Boardman, 6:30 in the lobby; Saturday, cheap movies at Movies 8 in Boardman, 6:30 in the lobby.
