WARREN — A woman is being held without bond in Trumbull County Jail after pleading innocent to two counts of kidnapping.
A police report says she got into a car containing boys 14 and 16 years old on Saturday afternoon, offered them sex and insinuated that she was armed.
Michelle L. Enderton, 35, of Kenmore Avenue N.E., was arraigned in Warren Municipal Court on the two felony charges that each carries a penalty of up to five years in prison and a misdemeanor charge of possessing drug paraphernalia.
The boys told police they were stopped at the intersection of West Market Street and Tod Avenue Southwest at about 6 p.m. when a woman got into the back seat of the car from the parking lot of a nearby store and asked for a ride.
The driver told her to get out.
The woman said the boys knew what she was, knew that she had weapons on her and ordered the driver to drive.
She said she would perform a sex act with them for $10.
The driver made his way to his own house, where he stopped the car, and the boys fled to their house. The boys told family members, who followed the woman from the car to a nearby house, where police arrested Enderton, police said.
She was also charged with possessing drug paraphernalia after officers located a glass crack pipe in her purse. She pleaded innocent to that charge also.
Enderton returns to Warren Municipal Court at 1:30 p.m. Nov. 25 before Judge Terry Ivanchak.
