• POLAND — Living in Richfield, Minn., after their marriage at 2:30 p.m. Sept. 6 at Poland United Methodist Church are Nick Plantan and the former Karla Bell.
A reception followed at St. Mary’s Assumption Social Center in Youngstown. They postponed their honeymoon to Playa Del Carmen, Mexico, until November.
The bride’s satin strapless gown featured a basque waist and cathedral train accented with metallic embroidery.
Kari Bell of Boardman and Krista Babyak of Largo, Fla., sisters of the bride, were her honor attendants. Bridesmaids included Farra Simerlink of Boardman; Elizabeth Begley of Little Rock, Ark.; and Lindsay Hawkins of Farmington Hills, Mich., the bride’s cousin. They wore cayenne-colored gowns.
Blake Jackson of Sacramento, Calif., served as best man, and groomsmen were Adam Duvall of Adrian, Mich.; Nick Guzman of Chicago; Dave Baron of Kankakee, Ill; and Dan Lloyd of Mason City, Iowa. Ushering guests were Mike Plantan of Bloomington, Minn., the groom’s brother, and Jim Bell of North Canton, the bride’s half brother.
The daughter of Thomas and Glenda Golec of Poland and James and Mary Jo Bell of North Canton is a manufacturing technology engineer for 3M Co. in St. Paul, Minn. She earned a degree in chemical engineering at the University of Notre Dame.
The son of Jim and Jo Plantan of Bloomington is a senior business analyst for Target Corp. in Minneapolis.
