• BOARDMAN — Jessica Simons became the bride of Marcus Tullio in a 5 p.m. ceremony Aug. 30 at St. James Meeting House in Boardman Township Park.

The Rev. Bill Wessner presided over the exchange of vows.

The couple received congratulations during a reception that evening at Antone’s Banquet Centre.

The bride is a daughter of Robert and Mary Simons of 3007 Olde Winter Trail, Poland, and the groom is the son of Nick Tullio and Noreen Paradise of Highland Heights and Sharon Tullio of Hudson.

Attending her sister as maid of honor was Allyson Simons of Columbus, who wore a burgundy dress. A niece of the groom, Kailey Sajewski of Mentor, participated as the flower girl.

Dave Schneider of Akron was the groom’s best man, and Jordan Sajewski of Mentor, his nephew, served as ring bearer.

The newlyweds, of 3770 Wyndham Ridge Drive, Stow, took a wedding trip to Boston.

The bride is a graduate of Kent State University, where she earned a master’s degree. She works in enrollment management and is a student services adviser for KSU in Burton.

The groom has a master’s degree from KSU and is employed at the university as an academic adviser.
