Housing market in Columbiana County was strong in October

The housing market in Columbiana County posted a strong performance in October, despite a crashing economy.

Real estate closings last month were as follows: Columbiana County, 67, compared with 55 in October 2007; Mahoning County, 164, compared with 180 in October 2007; and Trumbull County, 136, compared with 141 in October 2007.
