Acts can be individual or small group, and any type such as vocal, dance, instrumental, comedy, variety. Be prepared to perform as if it were the actual show. “Hello Dolly.” Stage Left Players at Trinity Playhouse, 234 E. Lincoln Way, Lisbon. Auditions for seventh- through 12th-graders will begin at 1 p.m. and will be every hour Nov. 30. You must call for an appointment. Be dressed to learn a simple dance step and be prepared to sing a short musical selection. An accompanist will be provided. Performances are Jan. 9-25. MUSICIANS

Cleveland Philharmonic Orchestra. Auditions are ongoing for section strings (violin, viola, cello), substitute brass and percussion for the 2008-09 season. Rehearsals are 7:30-10 Thursdays at the Tri-C’s Metropolitan Campus Auditorium in downtown Cleveland. Audition requirements are one solo piece and one orchestral excerpt of your choice.
