YOUNGSTOWN — With Phil Kidd leaving next week as the city’s downtown director of special events and special projects, city council wants to move fast to find a replacement.

Those wanting to apply for the job are asked by council to submit a cover letter and rsum by Nov. 28 to City Clerk Valencia Morrow at city hall, 26 S. Phelps St., Youngstown 44503.

The annual salary would range from $34,000 to $41,000, depending on experience, said Councilwoman Carol Rimedio-Righetti, D-4th, council’s finance committee chairwoman.

Kidd was hired Jan. 15 with a $41,124 annual salary.

A decision on replacing Kidd will be made sometime in December, Rimedio-Righetti said.
