Nov. 15
Domestic violence: A 33-year-old Boardman woman was charged after her husband alleged she slapped him a few times upon becoming angry about his drinking.
Domestic violence: A Youngstown man, 35, faced a charge. A woman told police the man made several threats while she visited a Bonnie Place apartment.
Bad check: A South Avenue woman was taken into custody on a felony count of passing a bad check.
Theft: Police accused two Youngstown females, 16 and 18, in the theft of miscellaneous jewelry and clothing from Wal-Mart, 1300 Doral Drive. The 18-year-old also was charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Theft: A man grabbed an armful of clothing and fled Kmart, 1209 Boardman-Poland Road.
Felonious assault: A Liberty Township man, 18, faced a charge after his girlfriend, of Erie Street, alleged he struck her repeatedly, causing her to lose consciousness and seek medical attention for numerous injuries. The man said she punched him in the head and reached for a knife.
Criminal mischief: Eggs were tossed at a vehicle in the 3900 block of Cascade Drive.
Misuse of a credit card: A Campbell woman checked her debit-card account at a township credit union and found out $640 worth of unauthorized charges and overdraft fees had been racked up.
Theft: A Youngstown man, 45, was charged, accused of taking an $86 wristwatch from Wal-Mart. He also was wanted on a warrant charging him with two counts of theft.
Domestic violence: A Boardman man, 26, surrendered to authorities. Earlier, a Mill Creek Boulevard woman alleged he struck her with a vehicle during a situation.
Arrest: Officers responded to a fight at a Boardman-Poland Road restaurant and arrested a Canfield man, 29, after pulling him over in the 1300 block. He was charged with operating a vehicle while impaired and obstructing official business when, police said, he refused to obey their commands.
Theft: Police responded to possible employee theft at Dunkin’ Donuts, 1301 Boardman-Poland Road, in which the worker was accused of taking an undisclosed amount of money by improperly voiding sales at the register.
Criminal mischief: An Oregon Trail man saw that someone had struck his car four times with paint balls.
Arrest: A traffic stop near Market Street and Midlothian Boulevard led to a 64-year-old Youngstown man’s arrest on a probation-violation charge.

Criminal damaging: A Sigle Lane man noticed on his truck three smashed windows.
Arrest: Authorities answered a report of a man who had fallen asleep at a Doral Drive store and took the 49-year-old Boardman man into custody upon learning he was wanted on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in court on a larceny charge.
Arrest: Police picked up a Youngstown woman, 43, on felony charges of forgery and receiving stolen property. A teller with a South Avenue bank told officers she cashed a stolen check for $190.
Damage: A van’s passenger-side window was broken in the 1000 block of Tiffany Boulevard.
Assault: An Austintown man alleged a former friend threw him into a stack of chairs and punched him in the head during an argument in the 7300 block of South Avenue. The victim was found bleeding.
Robbery: A Boardman-Canfield Road man told police that while returning to his apartment, a man in his late teens in a black coat approached, drew a knife and stole $580.
Breaking and entering: Someone tossed a large rock through the front door at Colla’s Barber Shop, 6247 Market St., though it was undetermined whether anything was missing.
Criminal damaging: A Shields Road woman said her boyfriend kicked in the door to her apartment, damaging the jamb.
Misuse of a credit card: An Afton Avenue woman checked her child-support debit card account and found fraudulent charges had been made at several local businesses.
Auto theft: A Huntington Drive man reported the theft of his 2008 Saturn.
Theft/criminal damaging: An Arlington Heights, Ill., man staying at a Tiffany Boulevard motel discovered his vehicle had been broken into. Stolen were 25 compact discs, a checkbook and other items.
Criminal damaging: A man driving on Truesdale Avenue called authorities after someone struck his car with a BB.
Burglary: A woman reported that someone broke into her brother’s Southern Boulevard residence via a side door and removed 10 Xbox games and 30 CDs.
Menacing: A Rush Boulevard man reported a threatening text message implying that he might be killed.
Criminal damaging: A Rosehedge Drive man found eight broken windows on his vehicle, resulting in a $1,200 damage estimate.

Domestic violence: A township girl, 15, was charged after her mother alleged the teen grabbed and squeezed her arms, then punched her as she tried to discipline the girl.
Theft: Clothing and shoes were stolen from Burlington Coat Factory, 529 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Theft: A woman’s purse was taken from her vehicle as she shopped at an East Midlothian Boulevard store.
Theft: Four bottles of perfume were stolen from Kohl’s, 383 Boardman-Poland Road, resulting in theft charges against a man, 33, and a 34-year-old woman, both of Youngstown.
Bad check: A 35-year-old woman was accused of writing a bad $150 check at 2000 Nails, 367 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Nov. 18
Theft: A Firnley Avenue man reported 106 prescription pain medications stolen.
Arrest: A Poland man, 29, faced charges of disorderly conduct and criminal trespassing after workers at a Boardman-Poland Road eatery reported problems with an intoxicated patron who refused to leave.
