KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Monica Wright scored 35 points and Britnee Milner made a free throw with 6.4 seconds left for Virginia. Trailing 80-75 with 1:44 left, Virginia (2-0) rallied. Wright made a 3-pointer and Whitny Edwards converted a steal to tie it at 80. Alex Fuller gave Tennessee an 82-80 lead with a pair of free throws with 49 seconds left before Wright tied it with a jumper. Shekinna Stricklen had a chance to give the Lady Vols the lead, but she missed a jumper with nine seconds left and then fouled Miller, who made one of two free throws for the win. Briana Bass and Glory Johnson scored 13 points apiece for Tennessee (1-1), which led 43-35 at halftime.

No. 4 North Carolina 102, Kennesaw State 68

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — Jessica Breland had 19 points and 10 rebounds to lead North Carolina to the easy win. Italee Lucas added 16 points for the Tar Heels (3-0). Laura Broomfield added 11 points for North Carolina. Britteny Henderson led Kennesaw State (1-1) with 14 points, and Greteya Kelley added 13.

No. 9 Louisville 72, Austin Peay 42

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Monique Reid had 17 points and nine rebounds and Angel McCoughtry finished with 15 points and seven boards for Louisville. Ashley Herring led Austin Peay (1-1) with 12 points.

No. 14 Texas 78, No. 25 Old Dominion 44

AUSTIN, Texas — Brittainey Raven scored Texas’ first 12 points and finished with 20 to help the Longhorns win the World Vision Classic. Kathleen Nash finished with 15 points and eight rebounds for Texas (3-0). Tiffany Green had 17 points for the Lady Monarchs (2-1).

No. 20 Auburn 95, Temple 76

AUBURN, Ala. — DeWanna Bonner scored 29 points and Sherell Hobbs added 20 to lead Auburn to the victory.
