Witherows feted at Mass, dinner for anniversary


• BOARDMAN — The 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Withrow, of Runnemede Drive, was observed during a Mass on Nov. 9 at St. Charles Church, where they are members, and during a family gathering afterward at Steamers in North Lima and then at the home of a son and daughter-in-law, Ken and Teresa Witherow, in Columbiana.

Also serving as hosts for the observance were other members of their family, Tom and Dawn Witherow of Columbiana, and Ralph and Lori Lowery of Boardman, and their 10 grandchildren, Bridget, Brenton, Brandon, Conner, Zachary, and Madeline Witherow, and R.P. Christian, Jordan, and Lauren Lowery.

The former Phyllis Esposito and Mr. Witherow exchanged nuptial vows on Nov. 8, 1958, at St. Nicholas Church in Struthers.

Mrs. Witherow retired from J. Brokerage in Youngstown, where she was a secretary. Mr. Witherow, a U.S. Army Veteran, is also retired. He was a regional manager with Domino Sugar of Cleveland. The couple own the home-based Pumpkin Rolls by Phyllis.
