“Community Connection” (6:30 a.m., WFMJ Channel 21): The Mahoning Valley Professional 20/30 Club will celebrate its fourth annual 40 Under 40 Awards on Thursday at the DeYor Center for the Performing Arts. Heather McMann of the club will talk with host Madonna Chism Pinkard about the organization’s outreach to young professionals and its philanthropic efforts. Next, Sounja Dawson, publisher of The Connector, a new community newspaper, will discuss the new publication and its purpose in the minority community.
