Warren man facing federal sex charge

WARREN — A 57-year-old Warren man has been charged in federal court with engaging in sexual contact with a young boy while the man served with the U.S. Army in Germany between 1984 and 1989.

Charles Dillie of Trumbull Avenue was indicted on the charge this week in U.S. District Court in Youngstown. He was released on $20,000 bond. He will be arraigned Nov. 20 before Judge Christopher A. Boyko.

The victim, now 29 and living in Colorado, reported his allegations to the U.S. Army, Military Police, in 2006 after learning that Dillie was certified as a kindergarten teacher.
