Authorities probe fire at small store

DRIVE-THROUGH BLAZE: Youngstown Fire Chief Terrance Jordon inspects the burned insides of the Market Street Deli and Beverage on the corner of market and Chicago Streets on Youngstown’s South Side. The drive-through convenience store caught fire Thursday night, drawing four firetrucks. Smoke was seen pouring from the roof of the one-story structure and flames could be seen coming out of a side door at 9 p.m. The fire units spent more than 11‚Ñ2 hours on the scene. Firefighters had to cut away a steel door to gain access to the building. The store was closed and empty at the time of the fire.
