Nov. 10
Theft: A woman reported 18 pieces of jewelry missing from her Trenholm Road residence.
Criminal damaging: A Hunters Ridge Drive man saw that someone had spray-painted a design on his mailbox.
Theft: A piece of medical equipment was stolen from a Windham Court business.
Arrest: Officers found a 17-year-old Youngstown boy hiding in a garage on Romaine Avenue, accusing him of fleeing during a traffic stop. The teen faced charges of obstructing official business, resisting arrest, driving under suspension and criminal trespassing.
Truck theft: A worker for a Market Street car dealership reported a 2004 Ford F-350 truck stolen.
Assault: A Youngstown man suffered contusions to his forehead as well as cuts after he was struck several times during a fight at a Willow Drive residence.
Arrest: Officers charged a Boardman woman, 46, with falsification after she claimed that a vehicle backing out of a parking space at a Market Street store struck her in the leg. A security camera showed, however, that several statements she made about the incident were false, police said.

Identity theft: An Erskine Avenue man found out his personal information was used to obtain credit with a Kingsport, Tenn., company without authorization.
Theft: A man’s cell phone was stolen at Boardman Center Middle School, 7410 Market St.
Theft: Two 17-year-old Youngstown girls were accused in the theft of eight items from Wal-Mart, 1300 Doral Drive.
Theft: Three people left Denny’s Restaurant, 154 Boardman-Canfield Road, without paying a $46.31 food bill.
Burglary: A man reported a $250, 30-inch TV missing after someone entered his Becky Court apartment.
Theft: A Youngstown woman’s purse was stolen near Southern Park Mall’s food court.
Burglary: A woman checking a relative’s Glenwood Avenue home discovered an open basement window as well as damaged drywall. Stolen were $20,000, a wristwatch and a diamond ring.
Theft: An employee with Birdfarm Warehouse, 8433 South Ave., reported an undisclosed amount of money missing.
Arrest: A 51-year-old Youngstown man was arrested near Ferndale Avenue on one count of driving under suspension. He also was charged with failure to comply with police when, authorities said, he ran from officers.
Arrest: Police responded to a fight in the 4000 block of South Avenue and took into custody a 39-year-old Boardman man upon learning he was wanted on a probation-violation charge.
Attempted theft: Someone in a van tried to steal a $600 power washer from Home Depot, 7001 Southern Blvd.

Assault: A Boardman woman, 24, was charged with assault and child endangering after police responded last month to a vehicular accident near Market Street. The woman was carrying her baby. A witness who thought the infant might be in danger intervened and was punched in the mouth and kicked, the report said.
Theft: Two Youngstown men, 18 and 19, were charged, accused in the theft of two articles of clothing from Wal-Mart.
Domestic violence: A 22-year-old Youngstown man was charged after his former fianc e, of Boardman, alleged he threatened to kill her.
Felonious assault: A Boardman man, 20, faced charges of felonious assault and resisting arrest after an Applecrest Court woman reported having been a victim.
Theft: A 27-year-old Boardman man was accused in the theft of four cosmetics items from Wal-Mart.
Theft: A man at Southern Park Mall noticed a digital camera and lens missing from his car.
Drugs: The department’s narcotics unit arrested a man, 22, at his Shields Road apartment on felony charges of receiving stolen property and possession of heroin and dangerous drugs, as well as trafficking in marijuana and heroin. A stolen 9 mm firearm was recovered, the report showed.
Theft: A Youngstown man, 36, faced a charge, accused of stealing $135.79 worth of beer from Giant Eagle, 1201 Doral Drive.
Theft: Women’s makeup was taken from Wal-Mart, resulting in a theft count against a 45-year-old Youngstown man.
Identity theft: A Tippecanoe Road man found four purchases had been made at a gas station using his credit/debit card without consent.
Burglary: A man in the 4000 block of South Avenue discovered two Sony PlayStation 2 consoles, a TV, a DVD player and a 12-pack of beer missing after someone entered his trailer.
Theft: A Trotter Drive man reported the theft of three Sony PlayStation 3 games and a DVD from his home.
Identity fraud: An Oakridge Drive man told police he accessed his Web site and discovered a woman had posted vulgar information on it without authorization.
Fraud: A Home Depot official reported finding a fraudulent charge, resulting in the loss of about $9,389 worth of goods.
