‘Can Michigan’ drive to help food bank

YOUNGSTOWN — The Ohio State University Alumni Club is joining forces with its local Buckeye partners — Huntington Bank, Catullo Prime Meats and Crouse Mills True Value — in having the first “Can Michigan” food drive today through Nov. 21.

The “Can Michigan” partners are asking the citizens of the Mahoning Valley to donate canned food items to help stock the shelves of the Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley in conjunction with the Ohio State-Michigan football game Nov. 22.

The Mahoning Valley drop-off locations for canned food donations are:

Huntington Banks: Brookfield Branch, 579 Bedford Road S.E.; Campbell Branch, 809 McCartney Road; Canfield Branch, 11 Manor Hill Drive; Cornersburg Branch, 3373 Canfield Road, Youngstown; Salem Branch, 2525 Southeast Blvd.; Struthers Branch, 5754 Youngstown-Poland Road; Catullo Prime Meats, 7127 Tiffany Blvd,, Boardman; Cassese’s MVR, 410 N. Walnut St., Youngstown; and Crouse Mills True Value, 11788 Market St., North Lima.
