LOS ANGELES — Authorities are investigating battery allegations against Emmy-winning actor Brad Garrett in an incident involving a photographer in West Hollywood.
Los Angeles County sheriff’s Sgt. Kristin Aloma says the 48-year-old Garrett has not been arrested in the incident that occurred late Tuesday or early Wednesday. She did not provide further details.
Garrett stars in the Fox sitcom “’Til Death.” He won three best supporting actor Emmys for his role in the comedy “Everybody Loves Raymond.”
Sandler, wife have baby
NEW YORK — Adam Sandler and his wife, Jackie, have welcomed their second daughter.
A posting on Sandler’s Web site says Sunny Madeline was born Nov. 2. The couple have been married since 2003. Their daughter Sadie was born in May 2006.
Sandler, 42, recently starred in the comedy “You Don’t Mess With the Zohan.”
Jesse McCartney will sing at halftime
DETROIT — Pop singer Jesse McCartney will perform during halftime of the Tennessee Titans-Detroit Lions Thanksgiving Day game at Ford Field in Detroit.
The Lions announced Wednesday that McCartney will sing “Leavin”’ and “How Do You Sleep?” during a 10-minute performance on Nov. 27.
