CANFIELD
Oct. 31
Drug abuse: Police arrested two people from East Liverpool — a man, 28, and a woman, 21, on drug charges at Fairground Boulevard and Surrey Lane. The man was charged with drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia after police found a bag of suspected marijuana, a suspected marijuana cigarette and a pack of rolling papers in his possession. The woman was charged with drug abuse.

Drug abuse, paraphernalia: Police charged a 19-year-old Minerva woman with drug abuse and drug paraphernalia after her arrest at the BP Gas Station, 599 E. Main St. Police found two glass pipes containing suspected marijuana residue and three grams of suspected marijuana in her possession.
Nov. 5
Passing bad checks: An employee at Nemenz IGA, 8 N. Broad St., reported that four checks returned for insufficient funds were received at the store.

Tampering: A Pepsi machine was broken into at the Austintown Plaza, 6000 Mahoning Ave.
Robbery: An undisclosed amount of cash was taken at National City Bank, 4949 Mahoning Ave., after the robber gave a note to a teller.
Nov. 4
Menacing/stalking: A tenant was following the landlord in the 3000 block of South Raccoon Road.
Theft: Two men stole $6,000 worth of merchandise by leaving through the lawn and garden exit at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave. Items stolen included 10 televisions, three DVD players, two GE telephones, speakers and an amplifier.
Aggravated robbery: A 22-year-old man was jumped by several suspects who stole his shoes, which were $180 Nike Air Jordan-style shoes, at Woodside Elementary School, 105 Elmwood Drive.
Breaking and entering: The front door to Highway Tabernacle, 3000 Raccoon Road, was smashed out and the church was ransacked, the safe smashed open and a television stolen.
Breaking and entering: A window was broken out at Lynn Kirk Church, 4199 Kirk Road, and the offices were ransacked.
Criminal damaging: A window was broken out of a vehicle at a home in the 3000 block of Elmwood Ave.

Telephone harassment: A female is accused of making harassing phone calls in the 500 block of South Raccoon Road.

Theft: A woman was issued a summons alleging theft at Payless Shoes, 6000 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A concrete saw was not returned at Power Tool & Supply, Inc., 3699 LeHarps Road.
Theft: Items were charged without the company’s permission at Sherwin Williams, 5880 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damaging: The side of a vehicle was damaged with a key at a home in the 300 block of South Edgehill Avenue.
Theft: Two females were caught stealing at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave. One woman was released with a summons, and a juvenile female was released to her mother.
Theft: A male suspect was released with a summons and a female juvenile was released to her mother after stealing at Wal-Mart.
Theft: A BMX bicycle was taken from the Fitness Center, 4560 Falcon Drive.

Theft: A wallet was stolen from an auto at Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Drug offense: Police charged a township man with drug abuse of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after arresting him at Mahoning Avenue and Meridian Road.
Theft: Two juvenile females were caught stealing at Dots, 6000 Mahoning Ave.
Recovered property: Clothing was recovered at Get Go, 5163 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: An Ipod, compact discs and a coat were taken from an auto at a home in the 100 block of South Four Mile Run Road.
Theft: An employee is believed to have written an undetermined number of checks for herself over a span of years at Youngstown Mirror and Glass, 3991 Henricks Road.

Burglary: There was no forced entry, but a 37-inch flat screen television was stolen from an apartment in the 1000 block of Compass West apartments.
Theft: Lottery tickets were stolen at Mike’s Transmission, 202 S. Meridian Road.
Theft: Two women were charged with theft at Wal-Mart.
Theft: Three men in a red pickup took a television at Wal-Mart.
Theft: A mailbox was taken from a home in the 4000 block of New Road.

Breaking and entering: Copper wire was taken from the 3000 block of Mahoning Avenue.
Theft: A Toshiba laptop was stolen from a home in the 100 block of North Navarre Avenue.
Theft: A male suspect was arrested for theft and was released after posting bond at Mahoning and Roanoke Avenue.
Criminal damaging: A woman was jailed on a criminal damaging charge at Mahoning Avenue and Beverly avenues.

Theft: A 10-foot trailer with an air compressor and tools were stolen at a home in the 2000 block of Evelyn Avenue.
Theft: A Seven Seventeen debit card was stolen at a home in the 200 block of N. Beverly Avenue.
Criminal damaging: A padlock and rear trailer door were damaged at Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Niles-Canfield Road.
Theft: A laptop computer, camera, Xbox 360, and an XM radio receiver were stolen from a home in the 6000 block of Calloway Circle.
Telecommunications harassment: A woman is a suspect in a case of telephone harassment at an apartment in the 1000 block of Fountain Square.
