New Middletown Village Council approved a three-year contract for three, full-time village police officers Monday. The pact contains a 2 percent raise in the second and third years. A story in Tuesday’s paper said the contracts were for one year.

The name of Rupert Murdoch, chairman of News Corporation and Fox Broadcasting, was misspelled in a story on Roger Ailes that appeared in Tuesday’s paper.
