Meth lab charges

BOARDMAN — Police arrested a Youngstown man on charges connected to a methamphetamine lab discovered last summer at a Mathews Road home. Dave Evans, 27, was picked up on a warrant Friday at his North Richview Avenue home by police and members of the U.S. Marshals Office Task Force. Evans is charged with manufacturing drugs and drug abuse instruments.

Last month, Jason D. Deshetler, 27, of Johnny K Boulevard, Hubbard, was arrested on a warrant charging him with illegal manufacture of drugs. Both arrests stem from the June 29 discovery of the methamphetamine operation in the garage at 1853 Mathews Road.
