“Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is” (10 p.m., BET): “Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is” launches its third season with further glimpses into the current life and turbulent past of the R&B songstress. The show precedes a sneak peek of the new sitcom, “Brothers to Brutha.”

“Cha$e” (10 p.m., Sci Fi): “Cha$e” is a new competitive reality series that combines hide-and-seek with video-game elements. Contestants try to stay “alive” while being pursued by hunters though various Los Angeles locations.

“Extreme Trains” (10 p.m., History): Get on board as History takes you for a ride on “Extreme Trains,” an eight-part series that tracks amazing locomotives that have helped shape America and continue to deliver today. Each episode tells the story of one particular train, with host Matt Bown along for the ride and working alongside the crew. Future episodes will feature the Amtrak Acela, the nation’s fastest train, which can reach 150 mph on its run from Washington to Boston, and a freight train that travels from the port of Los Angeles to Dallas/Fort Worth hauling goods from the Far East to stores across the country. The premiere episode focuses on a coal train — which weighs more than 15,000 tons when full — as it crosses the Allegheny mountains, transporting its cargo from mines to power plants.
