SEVENTY-FIVE YEARS AGO: The subjects of this Nov. 12, 1933, Rotogravure photo were identified as Captains Rosselli of Rayen and Morrison of Chaney and Referee Klocker. It was not uncommon for sports stories of the day to use only a last name. “Rosselli” was Dom Rosselli, who went on to success as a college athlete and as a basketball, baseball and assistant football coach at Youngstown College (YSU). He died Oct. 7 at age 93. The Rayen-Chaney game of 1933, played before 5,000 fans at Rayen Stadium, ended in a 6-6 tie.
