Just as Katie predicted, Spencer tried (but failed) to seduce Brad, then claimed to Kim that he hit on her. After receiving a conciliatory call from Spencer, Brad went to her room, found her dead, and ended up being charged with murder. Katie cut a deal with an unknown person to owe him a favor in return for Brad’s freedom, and all the evidence — including Spencer’s body — disappeared. Emily felt certain that Josie is a scam artist and teamed up with Paul to end Dusty’s association with her. DAYS OF OUR LIVES

Nicole manufactured a medical emergency to get herself transferred to the hospital. When other patients attacked Nicole, EJ came to the rescue, followed by Bo and Hope. Admitting she took a gun to the cemetery but didn’t kill Trent, and saw a man lurking there, Nicole began to wonder if EJ framed her in order to get her baby. Stefano was delighted by Abe’s mayoral victory, although his support made Lexie uneasy, since she fears he killed Marino because of her. Nick was shown to be the man threatening Melanie with phone calls.

GENERAL HOSPITAL

Scott’s reckless driving led him to crash the car. Luke pulled Scott to safety but went over a cliff with Laura, who freed him — then slugged Luke for lying to her about his marriage. Later, Luke and Laura made a decision about their future. After Kelly performed an emergency C-section to deliver her baby girl, Robin lost consciousness and remained in critical condition. Carly saved Sonny from drowning and had to reject Jax’s overtures to postpone their divorce in order to conceal Sonny’s presence. However, after Jax saw them sharing a close moment, he dropped an emotional bomb on Carly.

GUIDING LIGHT

The stolen necklace turned up in RJ’s toy, and Mallet realized that Cyrus planned the robbery to push Cassie away, which Cyrus didn’t deny. Cassie realized she needs a fresh start, and paid an emotional visit to Tammy’s grave before heading to Hawaii with RJ. When Grady told Dinah that it would be better if Bill never wakes up, she stated her intention to make sure Bill gets better, and left to find better doctors for him. Grady considered smothering Bill but couldn’t go through with it. After confessing to Alan that he had kidnapped Lizzie, Grady convinced him to team up to frame Bill, so that Alan gets Lizzie and his business back, and Grady gets freedom and the ransom money.

ONE LIFE TO LIVE

Marty professed her love for Todd and their relationship reached a new level, although he still withheld the truth about Cole. After sending Janet to assist with delivering Starr’s baby, Todd had a change of heart but feared it was too late to stop his plan. Niki’s plea that she free Natalie and Jared affected Tess, who went into labor. Meanwhile, Viki figured out what Tess had done and raced to the secret room with Charlie and Tina. The birth of doggie David’s puppies brought Cain and Tina to a passionate reconciliation. John got proof from Keys that Marty is at Todd’s house and escaped from his jail cell, desperate to reach her.

YOUNG AND RESTLESS

Moved by Nikki’s appeal, Ashley went to Paris and found Victor at Notre Dame. Adam confessed to Heather that he sold Victor’s journal to Sophisticate, and why, then proposed marriage, which she accepted. After learning about Adam’s involvement with the journal, Victoria vowed to bury him, as Adam faced questioning by the FBI. Michael blamed Gloria for landing River in jail by lying in her testimony, but when River told Michael that he had forgiven Gloria, Michael saw the bond between his parents. Kay’s desire to help Marge get help for her alcoholism backfired when she misplaced the rehab money, which Kevin found, and was assumed to have been drinking when her cell phone was found in a dive bar.
