WNEO digital will be off air

KENT — From Monday to Nov. 21, WNEO digital channels 45.1 and 45.2 will be off the air so that the PBS station can perform engineering upgrades.

On Nov. 19 and 20, all WNEO channels — digital and analog — will be off the air for most viewers. The digital channels will return Nov. 21 with a higher antenna and better coverage.

On Nov. 19, WNEO analog channel 45 will go off the air permanently — three months ahead of the national analog-to-digital conversion date. Viewers who do not have cable or satellite will need to either buy a converter box for their existing TV; buy a TV that has a digital tuner; or subscribe to a pay-TV service.
