Cops kill snarling raccoon

YOUNGSTOWN — Police had to evict a snarling raccoon from a house on North Gray Avenue.

Police said they were called to the home at 2:40 p.m. Saturday, where they used a snare to drag the hissing, growling raccoon outside. It was put against “a safe backdrop” and shot.

Police said they don’t know how the animal got into the house.
