HUBBARD
Nov. 1
Possible theft: A Hubbard man deposited money into his account at a West Liberty Street bank and later said the account failed to reflect the transaction.
Nov. 2
Criminal damaging: An officer patrolling in a park off state Route 616 noticed additional damage to picnic tables.
Theft: A Forest Hill Drive man reported the theft of jewelry from his residence.

Assault: A Jacobs Road man reported being in a fight with a friend near a North Main Street business.
Assault: A Jacobs Road woman reported that her son was assaulted.
Possible drugs: An official with Hubbard High School, 350 Hall Ave., reported a student was in possession of a powder substance.
Nov. 5
Arrest: The Girard Municipal Court issued a warrant charging a Hubbard man with failing to appear in court to face charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under suspension.
Assault: A North Main Street man told police another man assaulted him at home.
Criminal damaging: Someone threw an ice pick through a window at the Village Tavern, 746 N. Main St.
LIBERTY
Nov. 1
Criminal damaging: A window was shattered at Pleasant Valley Church, 2055 Pleasant Valley Road.
Theft: A Logan Way woman discovered at least 30 Xanex pills missing.
Nov. 2
Arrest: A Hubbard man, 24, faced a disorderly-conduct charge after police investigated a disturbance at a Belmont Avenue business. The man refused to leave and cooperate with authorities, despite having been advised to do both, the report said.
Theft: A Vienna woman, 55, was accused of filling her cart with $208 worth of groceries and trying to leave Giant Eagle, 4700 Belmont Ave., without paying.
Felonious assault: A James Lane man told authorities a woman asked to use his phone, and that a man struck the accuser with an aluminum baseball bat before both fled in a white Monte Carlo.
Nov. 3
Criminal damaging: A Trumbull Court woman reported that someone had placed sugar in her gas tank, causing about $500 worth of damage.
Breaking and entering: A basement window was broken when someone entered Quality Heating & Air Conditioning, 1875 Tibbetts-Wick Road. Stolen was a flat-screen TV.

Theft: A woman reported her purse missing from her vehicle.
Theft: A Sapulpa, Okla., man reported the theft of a $1,000 electric guitar and a tuner while performing in a concert at a township church.
Theft: A Church Hill-Hubbard Road man discovered $740 missing from his home.
Breaking and entering: Someone broke a window and entered a residence in the 6100 block of Belmont Avenue before removing a washing machine and dryer, a sump pump, a hot-water heater and a ceiling fan. The loss was estimated at $1,850.
Theft: A teacher at National College, 3487 Belmont Ave., told police 13 textbooks valued at $1,950 were missing from a classroom.
Theft by deception: A worker for a Belmont Avenue motel reported a man claiming to represent a company rented 20 rooms for $6,855. Later, the man said he had been robbed and was unable to make the payment, yet police said a check revealed no such robbery report by the man.
GIRARD
Nov. 3
Assault: A Broadview Avenue man reported a person in his backyard tossed an unidentified object, striking him in the left arm. The homeowner sustained a minor injury.
Criminal mischief: A Mohican Drive man noticed damage to patches of grass in his yard.
Menacing: A woman said a Gordon Street woman, 33, threatened to harm the accuser’s daughter regarding money owed.
Nov. 4
Theft: A charge was pending against a 36-year-old Girard woman after police said $31.42 worth of items stolen from Family Dollar, 900 N. State St., were in her purse.
Theft: A woman reported her debit card stolen while at a North State Street business, and learned that a $67 unauthorized charge was made with it.
Assault: A teacher’s aide at Girard High School, 31 N. Ward Ave., reported that a student grabbed her face and scratched her eye and cheek.
Menacing: A Ward Avenue woman told officers a Girard man threatened to kill her as part of an ongoing dispute.
Criminal damaging: A Plymouth Avenue man found three dents in his car’s front hood after someone had punched the vehicle.
