Mooney cuts lead to 11

CANTON — The Mooney offense is looking to turn the tide on Steubenville’s Big Red late in the third quarter.

Cardinals quarterback Alex Zordich led Mooney down the field and scored on a 1-yard run with 2:51 left in the third. The score, set up by 43-yard run by running back Braylon Heard, brought Mooney within two scores of Steubenville.

The Big Red lead Mooney 21-10.
