ASSOCIATIONS
• NAACP will conduct election of officers and at-large members of the executive committee Tuesday at the office, 3119 Market St., Suite 206. Polls will be open from 1 to 5:30 p.m. for members in good standing. A form of identification is required.
ATHLETIC GROUPS
• Girard Golden Eagles will meet at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Girard Free Library.
• McDonald Midget Football Association will meet at 7 p.m. Sunday in the senior citizens room at the McDonald post office building.
• McDonald Sideliners meet every Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the high school.
AUXILIARIES
• St. Elizabeth Health Center Auxiliary will have a general membership meeting at noon Monday in the private dining room. Atty. William Kalasky will speak on “Estate Planing, Living Wills, Trusts and Probate.”
CLUBS
• ASQ Youngstown-Warren Section 0805 will have a membership meeting Monday at the Kent Trumbull Campus, 4314 Mahoning Ave. N.W., Warren, in the Workforce Development Building, Room 211. Meetings begin with a pretechnical session on data analysis at 5 p.m. and a speaker at 6:45 p.m. on “Lean Six Sigma: One Hospital’s Deployment and Lessons Learned.” Members may either session or both. GUILDS
• Western Reserve Knitting Guild will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Fair Park in Canfield for a holiday dinner. Each member is to take a covered dish to share and a place setting. Those who have any Special Olympics scarves finished should take them. Also, caps for kids are still needed.
LIBRARY FRIENDS
• Friends of the Boardman Library will meet Monday in the community room of the library. Dr. Rebecca Barnhouse, of the English Department at Youngstown State University, will present her topic, “Illuminated Manuscripts.” Guests and new members are welcome. No reservations are necessary. A social begins at 9:30 a.m. with the program at 10. Hostesses are Beverly Gibson, Karen Jarosz, Shirley Shafer and Mary Jane Stevens. Reservations for the annual Christmas luncheon will be taken at this meeting. The deadline for reservations is Nov. 30. Choices are chicken francaise, Swiss steak jardiniere or baked orange roughy. RELIGIOUS GROUPS
• Mount Carmel Society of St. Rose Church meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the lower church.
• Niles Knights of Columbus will have a memorial Mass at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the hall, 1024 Vienna Ave.
• St. Anthony Auxiliary of Struthers will meet at noon Monday at St. Anthony Hall, where luncheon will be served by Eleanor DiPillo, Ulderica Centofanti and Virginia Matijasic. Election of officers is on the agenda, and dues will be collected. Arlene Dechellis will present an update on the Christmas party to be at the Holiday Inn in Boardman.
• St. Monica Guild of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Youngstown, will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday with Mary Ann Cardiero presiding. Plans will be made for a Christmas party. Hostesses will be Mary Louise Romeo, Marie Ronyak, Alice Rossi, Carrie Rossi and Patti Rossi.
• St. Rose Catholic Women’s Club will meet at 7 p.m. Monday in Rosetta Hall. Crafts will be made. Members are asked to take canned pumpkin for the Food Bank.
