Four straight nights of concerts featuring all-star lineups of vocal groups begin at 7 p.m. at Chevrolet Centre. The occasion is the induction ceremony and concerts for the Vocal Group Hall of Fame. Tonight’s musical lineup includes Three Dog Night, Peter Tork of the Monkees, the Lettermen, Florence LaRue of the Fifth Dimension, Johnny Maestro and the Brooklyn Bridge, The Crystals, Terry Johnson’s Flamingos, the Capris, the Spaniels, Harold Winley’s Clovers and Tom Bialoglow of the Duprees.

jOpera Western Reserve presents the classic “Madama Butterfly” at 8 p.m. at Stambaugh Auditorium, featuring Misook Yun in the title role and the Warren Philharmonic Orchestra, directed by Susan Davenny Wyner. Call (330) 480-0693.

Abbey Road, the Beatles tribute band, provides the music for the Butler Institute of American Art’s fund-raiser. Beatles memorabilia, on loan from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, will be on display. It’s cabbage time. Haus Cider Mill, 6742 Calla Road, holds its ninth annual Kraut Fest from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Ethnic food, including (of course) homemade sauerkraut, is on the menu. The Del Sinchak Band will perform Saturday and the Mahoning Valley Button Box will play Sunday.
