‘Kids for Kids’ auction sponsored by children

DAMASCUS — The children of Damascus United Methodist Church, 300 Valley Road, are sponsoring a “Kids for Kids” auction at 4 p.m. Saturday as a benefit for various children’s missions.

Adults will be able to bid on more than 100 new items such as collectibles, gift certificates and baskets and holiday items. There will be a junior auctioneer in charge of a separate children’s auction, where parents can purchase ‘kid’s cash’ in advance to regulate how much children can bid.

Doors open at 3 p.m., and there will be a lunch counter.
