YOUNGSTOWN — Shots fired from a car hit two houses in the 750 block of Crandall Avenue on the North Side Monday evening.

No injuries were reported. A witness told police that a gold Ford Escort traveling northbound on Griffith Street turned onto Crandall and stopped around 7:15 p.m. The driver and passenger opened fire, hitting the front door at 751 Crandall and the front wall and side window at 753 Crandall. The residents at 753 Crandall later found two bullet fragments in an upstairs bedroom, reports show. Police collected four casings on the street between the two houses.
