Induction concert tickets on sale

YOUNGSTOWN — Tickets are on sale for the Vocal Group Hall of Fame’s four induction concerts, Thursday through Sunday at the Chevrolet Centre, downtown.

Between 10 and 12 acts will perform each night. All concerts begin at 7 p.m. Tickets are $25, $35 and $45 and are available by calling the VGHF at (724) 983-2025; the Chevy Centre box office; and at all Ticketmaster outlets. Ticketmaster does not have the $25 tickets. Tables of eight on the floor are also available by calling the VGHF.

Featured acts include Three Dog Night, Peter Tork and The Lettermen on Thursday; Al Jardine, Sam Moore, The Lovin’ Spoonful and Martha and the Vandellas on Friday; The O’Jays, Ruth Pointer, Jay and the Americans and Mary Weiss of the Shangri-Las on Saturday; and Tony Orlando, Tim Hauser of the Manhattan Transfer, The Association and Harold Melvin’s Blue Notes on Sunday.
