Drug abuse: Police arrested a 41-year-old Youngstown man at East Main Street and McDonald’s on charges of drug abuse, obtaining and possessing. Found in his possession were prescription painkillers and antibiotics.

Oct. 27

Making false alarms: A 17-year-old Youngstown girl was arrested for being a delinquent child and for making false alarms after emergency crews were dispatched to the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center, 7300 N. Palmyra Road on a false alarm. An alarm button in the back hallway of the school was activated.

Making false alarms: An 18-year-old male student from Sebring was arrested for making false alarms, at the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center.

Oct. 29

Theft: Two wireless outdoor cameras were stolen from Radio Shack, 429 E. Main Street by a man who left the store without paying for them.

Oct. 27

Weapons offense: Police found a .45-caliber gun under the seat of a car of a man who had wrecked the vehicle and was driving under the influence at Oakcrest Drive and Signature Place.

Theft: A GPS system was stolen from a vehicle at the Hampton Inn parking lot, 880 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Theft: A cell phone and miscellaneous jewelry were stolen from an auto in the parking lot at the Hampton Inn.

Criminal damaging: A 6-foot windmill was damaged and pumpkins were smashed at a home in the 200 block of Forest HiIl Drive.

Menacing: Phone threats were reported at an apartment in the 500 block of S. Raccoon Road.

Criminal damaging: Damage to the electrical outlets at the gazebo and graffiti on a table and the gazebo post were reported at Wedgewood Park, Lancaster Court.

Theft; Two juveniles were involved in a hit-skip accident and apprehended at Mahoning Avenue and Four Mile Run Road, after stealing at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A woman was arrested and released on a summons after stealing at Wal-mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Copper bars and wire were stolen from the Ohio Edison substation, 3800 Crum Road.

Aggravated menacing: A woman was threatened by her ex-boyfriend at an apartment in the 4000 block of Pembrook Road.

Oct. 28

Fraud: A victim’s debit card was used fraudulently at a home in the 4000 block of New Road.

Bomb threat: An unknown caller made a bomb threat at the Seven Seventeen Credit Union, 6460 Mahoning Ave.

Harassment: A man made harassing calls to a home in the 3000 block of Timber Lane.

Oct. 29

Theft: A man was arrested for stealing blue jeans at JCPenney Co., 6000 Mahoning Ave. and released on a summons.

Theft: A watch was stolen at Buy the Beach, 5521 Mahoning Ave.

Harassment: A man is accused of making harassing phone calls at an apartment in the 1000 block of S. Raccoon Road.

Theft: $18.67 in fuel was stolen at Sheetz gas station, 5499 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Household items were stolen at an apartment in the 3000 block of Lynhaven Road.

Oct. 30

Criminal damaging: A tire was cut on an auto at an apartment in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.

Aggravated burglary: A man is a suspect in a burglary at an apartment in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.

Theft: An auto with Michigan license plates was broken into at the Hampton Inn, 880 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Drug abuse: An Austintown man was charged with possession of marijuana when police were called to a domestic dispute at a home in the 100 block of Atlanta Ave.

Theft: An unlocked vehicle was robbed of a GPS system and a radar detector at a home in the 4000 block of Winthrop Drive.

Theft: The driver’s door lock was pulled on a vehicle and a compact disc case with 50 CDs in it stolen in the 4000 block of Winthrop Drive.

Theft: A credit union debit card and car keys were stolen at a home in the 1000 block of Moorefield Ave.

Burglary: A computer and television were stolen from a home in the 4000 block of New Road.

Criminal damaging: A lock tumbler was damaged at the Austintown Plaza, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Aggravated menacing: Threats were made at a home in the 100 block of N. Meridian Road.

Theft: A theft was reported at a home in the 4000 block of New Road.

Criminal damaging: A house was damaged by numerous rounds of paint balls in the 5000 block of Cider Mill Crossing.

Theft: Tools were taken from an auto in the Home Depot parking lot, 6100 Mahoning Ave.

Fraud: Unauthorized charges were made to an account at a home in the 3000 block of Warwick Court.

Theft: A 1996 GMC Suburban was stolen at Pilot Oil,1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Attempted theft: A vehicle window was broken but nothing was taken at Used Car Connection, 5202 Mahoning Ave.

Breaking and entering: Four brass shoe stands were taken from a home in the 2000 block of County Line Road.

Criminal damaging: A pumpkin was thrown at a vehicle and the fender and quarter-panel were damaged at a home in the 3000 block of Orchard Hill.

Illegal dumping: Illegal dumping was reported at Fox Run apartments, 70 N. Raccoon Road.

Disorderly conduct: A man was released on a summons for disorderly conduct in the 4000 block of Mahoning Avenue.

Criminal damaging: Scratches to a vehicle were reported at Wal-Mart.

Drug offense: An Austintown woman was charged with possession of marijuana and issued a summons at Wilcox Road and Boulder Creek.

Disorderly conduct: A drunken woman was issued a summons for disorderly conduct at N. Four Mile Run Road and Oakwood Ave.

Telephone harassment: A man was a victim of telephone harassment at a home in the 100 block of Idaho Road.

Drug offense: Two juvenile males were found to have marijuana at Woodside Elementary, 4150 Elmwood Ave.

Identity theft: A charge card account was opened by someone else at a home in the 40 block S. Roanoke Ave.

Aggravated menacing: Telephone threats were reported at a home in the 4000 block of Barrington Drive.

Personal injury: A dog bite was reported at the intersection of Potomac Ave. and S. Navarre Avenue.

Burglary: A handgun was taken from an apartment in the 3000 block of Canfield Road.

Criminal damaging: A window was damaged at a home in the 4000 block of Crum Road.

Nov. 2

Drug offense: A Cortland man was arrested for possession of cocaine at Clarkins Drive and state Route 46.

Recovered property: An H&K .40-caliber pistol was recovered in an abandoned car found in a ditch at Fairview Road and Wilcox Road.

Criminal trespassing: Four-wheelers were trespassing on private property at a home in the 4000 block of Lanterman Road.

Fraud: Fraudulent charges were made on the victim’s credit card at Subway, 1600 S. Raccoon Road.

Auto theft: A 2007 Peterbilt semi and trailer were stolen at the Comfort Inn, 5425 Clarkins Drive.

Menacing: Threats were made using a knife by a juvenile at a home in the 100 block of N. Beverly Ave.

Criminal damaging: A window, screen and blinds were damaged at a home in the 40 block of Atlanta Avenue.

Attempted burglary: A man with a tear drop tattoo under his right eye attempted to force open a window at a home in the 200 block of N. Edgehill Ave.

Criminal damaging: Windows were smashed out at an apartment in the 900 block of Compass West.

Burglary: Numerous items were taken, including firearms, in a burglary in the 1500 block of Fountain Square apartments.
