Forgotten Heroes event set for Sunday

POLAND — The 10th annual Forgotten Heroes program will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Poland Riverside Cemetery, 110 Riverside Drive.

It is sponsored by the Fifth U.S. Colored Troops Company I and the 19th Ohio Volunteer Infantry Company B.

The honorees are Capt. Robert Wilson, Company H 105th OVI; Sgt. Robert Walker, Company D 171st OVI; and Arthur Liddle, Company E Second OVC.

A special honor will be in memory of George Wydell Jones Jr., U.S. Air Force veteran.
