• HUBBARD — A honeymoon on the Hawaiian islands followed the Sept. 20 wedding of Donna McGivern and John Makosky II, who were united in marriage during a 1:30 p.m. ceremony at St. Patrick Church and honored afterward during a reception at St. Lucy Banquet Hall in Campbell,
The bride is a daughter of Alma McGivern, 478 Melbourne Ave., Boardman, and the late Edward McGivern, and groom is a son of John and Rose Makosky, 471 Peters Drive, Campbell.
Mrs. Makosky earned an associate degree in applied business from Youngstown State University. She is a surgery scheduler with Advanced Urology in Boardman.
Mr. Makosky attended the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale in Florida, and is a sales representative for Popp Dental of Greendale, Wis. The couple live at 172 Warner Road.
A ruched band accented the neckline of the bride’s strapless corset back gown and the pickups on the skirt were enhanced with pearl motifs.
Cranberry-colored gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Meghan Hiland, and the bridesmaids, Christine Kays, Roseann Graj, Christiane Probst, Shannon Morris, Sara Makosky and Isabelle Graj. Natalie Davis was the flower girl.
Best man was Patrick Kerber, and groomsmen were Brian McCue, Simon Graj, Henry Leith, Joe Makosky Jr., and Joe Makosky. Ring bearers were Charlie Davis and Nathan McCue.
