BOWLING GREEN — Tyler Sheehan threw two touchdown passes and ran for another for Bowling Green as the Falcons held off Kent State’s second half surge to win 45-30 on Saturday.
Anthony Turner’s 11-yard run combined with Sheehan’s touchdown passes to Corey Partridge and Jimmy Scheidler helped Bowling Green (4-5, 2-3 Mid-American) jump out to a 28-0 halftime lead.
But Kent State (2-7, 1-4) quarterback Julian Edelman threw for a touchdown, then ran for two more to get the Golden Flashes close with just more than five minutes left.
