POLAND— The dates for the book sale have been changed to Nov. 10 through Nov. 15 at the Friends of the Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County Bookstore.

Civil War Round Table will feature historian

BOARDMAN — Mahoning Valley Civil War Round Table will feature author and historian Brian Steel Wills when it meets at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 10 at Antone’s Banquet Centre. Wills will talk about the life and military career of the Rebel cavalryman Nathan Bedford Forrest.

Kidney Foundation fundraiser scheduled

YOUNGSTOWN — The D.D. and Velma Davis Education Center in Fellows Riverside Gardens, Mill Creek MetroParks, will be the setting Saturday for a fundraiser planned by the nonprofit Eastern Regional Kidney Foundation as a benefit for kidney disease patients.

Featured will be a dinner prepared by Chrystal Catering at 7 p.m., and a Chinese auction will get under way at 8:30. There will also be a martini bar and live entertainment provided by DJ Collaboration.

Admission is $60 per person or $100 a couple. Prepaid Chinese auction tickets are $1.
