50th Anniversary is observed by the Scannells

• YOUNGSTOWN — The 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. William R. Scannell, 4635 Driftwood Lane, was observed Oct. 18 at Briarfield at Ashley Circle.

The former Nina L. Darr and Mr. Scannell were united in marriage Oct. 18, 1958, at American Baptist Assembly in Green Lake, Wis. They are members of Western Reserve United Methodist Church.

Their family includes Alan J. and Lisa Scannell and David G. and Maureen Scannell, all of Youngstown; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Mrs. Scannell retired in 1998 from her position as administrative supervisor with GF Office Furniture.

Mr. Scannell was employed as a computer-aided designer with Delphi Packard Electric Systems in Warren prior to retiring in 2000.
