Volunteers needed at local Children's Hospital campus

BOARDMAN — Akron Children’s Hospital’s Beeghly Campus, scheduled to open in early December, is accepting applications for its Volunteer Program.

Volunteers are needed seven days a week to help staff the reception desk, greet visitors, staff the gift shop, and assist with directions, mail delivery and patient transport. Shifts begin at 8 a.m. and end at 7 p.m.

Volunteers must be over the age of 18 and out of high school, and able to commit to three to four hours a week for a minimum of one year.
