Pens blast Blues
ST. LOUIS (AP) — Miroslav Satan had a goal and two assists, and the Pittsburgh Penguins snapped a three-game losing streak when they rallied to beat the St. Louis Blues 6-3 Saturday night.
Evgeni Malkin and Jordan Staal each had a goal and an assist for Pittsburgh. Alex Goligoski, Tyler Kennedy and Maxime Talbot also scored for the Penguins, who broke out of a scoring drought. Pittsburgh had scored two goals or fewer in its previous three contests and had been held to no more than two in the past four road games.
The Penguins were helped by the presence of captain Sidney Crosby, who was forced out of Thursday night’s loss at Phoenix by an undisclosed injury. He had two assists against the Blues.
