X HUBBARD — The Rev. Beverly Hall of Bellville officiated at 3:30 p.m. April 19 at Coalburg United Methodist Church for the marriage of her daughter, Courtney Valentino, and John Violi, both of Campbell

Parents of the groom are Karen LaCivita and John J. Violi, both of Hubbard.

The bride, also a daughter of the late Ralph Valentino, was escorted by her uncle, John Valentino. She wore a traditional white gown embellished with pearls and featuring a halter-style bodice and full skirt.

Wearing black gowns were Melody Kaag, the honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Angela Violi, a sister of the groom, and Amber Valentino, the bride’s sister. Flower girl was the groom’s daughter, Kaitlyn Violi.

Serving as best man was Steve Pratt, and groomsmen were Gary Dattillo and Shan Fleps.

A reception was held in honor of the couple at St. Patrick Church. They have postponed their wedding trip to Atlantic City until June.
