ROCcK Children’s Choir has events in store

The ROCcK Children’s Choir will perform at the Cleveland Zoo on Saturday. The event is to benefit the “Wigs For Kids” organization, which raises hair and money for a worthy cause.

Also appearing will be Life Maxx, the group’s superhero, featured in a comic book series produced by Brenda Rider and Chris Yambar of A Way With Words Foundation, sponsor of the choir.

Also Saturday is the ROCcK Choir’s 4th Annual Golf Scramble at the Olde Dutch Mill Golf Course in Lake Milton.

The proceeds will pay for the choir to travel to Victory Junction Gang Camp in North Carolina during Cancer Week, June 23.

The kids are also selling T-shirts available at Aardvark Sportswear in Austintown. They are hand-painted Kids Helping Kids shirts for a donation of $5. For more information, visit awaywithwordsfoundation.org on the Web.
