ATHLETIC GROUPS

• McDonald Baseball Associationwill meet at 6 p.m. Sunday in the senior citizens room at the post office building.

ASSOCIATIONS

• American Association of University Women, Youngstown Branch, will have its annual Spring Luncheon Guest Day and installation of officers June 7 in the gathering room at Park Vista, 1216 Fifth Ave., Youngstown. Festivities will begin at 11 a.m. and will include entertainment by the Dana Vocal Society, accompanied by George Harris. • Poland Center Homemakers will meet from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday for a casserole luncheon at Poland United Methodist Church. Hostesses will be Betty Gulas and Mary Morrison.

• Warren Republican Women’s Club will have its month meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday at DiLucia’s Restaurant on Elm Road. Cost for dinner is $13, and reservations can be made by calling (330) 856-4659. Everyone is welcome. The evening’s program will be the installation of officers for 2008-09.

LIBRARY FRIENDS

• Friends of the Boardman Library will meet at noon June 9 for the annual June lunch in the community room of the library. The catered lunch menu is chicken parmigiana, rigatoni, salad, rolls, dessert and beverage. Reservations are due today.
