Springfield baseball advances with ease

LORAIN — Springfield scored 11 runs in the first inning and went on to a 13-1 victory over Buckeye Central in a Division IV regional baseball semifinal game at the Pipe Yard Thursday.

The Tigers return here Friday for the regional championship game at 2 p.m.
