Austintown Rotary leader outlines his priorities

AUSTINTOWN — Rotary Club of Austintown’s incoming president, Dr. Michael Cafaro, outlined his main goals for 2008-2009 at a planning meeting at his office May 25.

Among his plans are adoption of Woodside Elementary School as a focus project on literacy and expanded educational opportunities.

The club will continue its third-grade Dictionary Project, serving at the Rescue Mission and the Kirk Road cleanup, plus its sponsorship of the Fitch Interact Club and scholarships.
