Forum will offer free stroke screenings

YOUNGSTOWN — Forum Health Northside Medical Center will offer free stroke screenings Friday.

The event will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and then 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on the ground level of the center’s Medical Education Building, 500 Gypsy Lane.

Tests will be available on blood sugar level, blood pressure, weight and blood glucose.

The center will also provide information on the warning signs of strokes and other health and therapy topics.

Stroke survivors from Hillside Rehabilitation Hospital will be on hand to answer questions and discuss their experiences.
