Blue Jays 7, Royals 2

TORONTO — Shaun Marcum won for the first time in four starts, Gregg Zaun hit a two-run homer and Toronto completed its first four-game sweep of Kansas City. NATIONAL LEAGUE

Braves 7, Diamondbacks 3

ATLANTA — Mark Teixeira drove in four runs to help the Braves beat Brandon Webb and the Diamondbacks. Webb (9-2) allowed seven runs — four earned — and a season-high 10 hits in 41‚Ñ3 innings, his shortest start since Oct. 1, 2006. He won his first nine decisions before losing 3-1 at Florida last Wednesday.

Brewers 4, Nationals 3, 11 innings

WASHINGTON — Pinch-hitter Gabe Kapler singled home a run in the 11th inning. Prince Fielder led off the 11th with an opposite-field double to left against an exaggerated shift, then moved to third on Corey Hart’s sacrifice bunt. After Russell Branyan struck out, Kapler lined the first pitch from Saul Rivera (3-2) to center for an RBI single.

Marlins 7, Mets 3

NEW YORK — Willie Randolph kept his job — for now. After their embattled manager had a much-anticipated meeting with ownership Monday, the Mets got another ineffective outing from Mike Pelfrey and fizzled on offense following a strong start.

Phillies 20, Rockies 5

PHILADELPHIA — Chase Utley drove in a career-best six runs, Jamie Moyer had a season-high seven strikeouts in seven efficient innings and the Phillies pounded the Rockies.
