SCOPE Niles Senior Center, 14 E. State St., has the following activities scheduled: Monday, closed for Memorial Day, however, a trip to Wildwood, N.J. and Atlantic City leaves at 6:30 a.m. and returns Thursday; Tuesday, walking for fun at 9 a.m., square dancing canceled, lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. (cost $3 for members and $4 for nonmembers), and pinochle and other card games at 2:30 p.m.; Wednesday, tai chi at 10 a.m. (cost is $5), VIP luncheon at 11:30 (cost is $5), hearing aids and devices at 11:45, bingo, cards and Texas Hold’em at 1 p.m. and players choice cards at 2:30; Thursday, bus trip to Wheeling, W.Va., leaves at 8:30 a.m., walking for fun at 9, line dancing at 9:30 (cost is $3), lunch at 11:30 (cost is $3 for members and $4 for others) and pinochle, bridge and other card games or bowling at McKinley Lanes at 1 p.m.; and Friday, morning movies at 9 a.m., arthritis exercise program at 11 and choir practice and cards at 1 p.m.

Senior Center of Mahoning County, 1110 Fifth Ave., Youngstown, has planned the following activities: Monday, Closed for Memorial Day observance; Tuesday, oil painting and exercises at 10 a.m., computer class at 10 and noon, and digital club at 2 p.m.; Wednesday, watercolor class at 10 a.m., computer at 10 and noon, tai chi at noon and 500 cards at 1 p.m.; Thursday, woodcarvers and Watch Our Weight Club at 9 a.m., D.J. Stitchers at 10, exercise at noon and line dancing at 1 p.m.; and Friday, Texas Hold’em at 1 p.m. Home Energy Assistance Program applications are available at the center.
