Scaramuzzinos mark 50th during surprise dinner at church hall
X AUSTINTOWN — John and Dolores Scaramuzzino, 178 S. Navarre Ave., celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary May 10 at a surprise dinner for invited family and friends at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church Hall in Youngstown.
Hosts of the festivities were the couple’s daughter, Marina Burns, of Coatesville, Pa. and their son, Mark Scaramuzzino of Masury, and his fianc e, Debbie Paulley.
The Scaramuzzinos have three grandchildren, Jonathan and Miranda Northcott and Alex Burns, and one great-grandchild, Conner Zets.
The former Dolores Silver and Mr. Scaramuzzino were married May 10, 1958, at St. Patrick Church in Youngstown.
The couple belong to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.
Mrs. Scaramuzzino, who is retired, worked at the former Stein Mart Store in Boardman as a sales associate. She is a member of Sorrowful Mothers and St. Monica Guild.
Mr. Scaramuzzino, a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, retired from the Youngstown City School District as a painter. He belongs to the Cameo Club.
