Canfield public relations firm reveals new clients

CANFIELD — Pecchia Communications, a Canfield public relations firm, announced these new clients: Whirlpool Corp. of Benton Harbor, Mich., a manufacturer of home appliances; Aim NationaLease of Girard, a provider of transportation and vehicle-maintenance services; Ankle Foot Care Centers, Boardman, which has 20 offices in Ohio and Pennsylvania; and Creative Source Design Group of Canton, a provider of graphics and signs. Dan Pecchia is the company president.

Keynote Media launches new consulting division

YOUNGSTOWN — Keynote Media Group, a marketing and advertising company, has launched a new consulting division. The new entity, Inside The Box Marketing, will provide clients with analysis of their marketing strategies.

Richard Hahn, Keynote Media Group principal, said “outside” advertising issues are only part of marketing. The new division delves into areas such as planning, location, signs, Web sites, facilities and internal branding and communications.

Sports Cutters: new atmosphere for haircuts

BOARDMAN — Steve DeFelice has opened Sports Cutters Haircuts at 7377 Market St. The shop has a sports theme that specializes in men’s and boy’s haircuts. It also offers grooming products and sports memorabilia. Sports Cutters has large-screen televisions tuned into sporting events, and children’s haircuts are available in a specially designed race car.

YSU graduate helms food delivery service

Center for Dialysis Care opens in Boardman

BOARDMAN — The Renal Group for Kidney Care has opened The Center for Dialysis Care at 807 Southwestern Run. The physicians involved are Dr. Erdal Sarac, Dr. Hilmer Negrete, Dr. Prakash Roy and Dr. Salman Shafi. The center offers home hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis and next-stage dialysis. The home hemodialysis program offers training so that treatments can be done at home.

New Styles Salon Tanning now open

NORTH JACKSON — Shauna Graham has opened New Styles Salon Tanning at 10923 Mahoning Ave. She has been a licensed cosmetologist for six years. She is assisted by Cindy Ward and Sheena Flint. The salon provides nail services as well as hair care. It also features tanning beds.

Pool Choice now offers service in Boardman

BOARDMAN — Pool Choice has opened a customer service center at 945 Boardman-Canfield Road, Suite 14. Pool Choice is a member of the PartsFinder dealer network and is able to locate swimming pool and spa parts. It stocks parts, including cartridge elements and gaskets, and offers computerized water analysis of swimming pool and spa chemical programs.
